Benjamin Snape
Benjamin Snape is a British director, producer, editor and actor. He made his directing debut with documentary short "A Life Worth Living" in 2020, the film follows the life of retired USAF veteran Tony Monetti.
Born in Shrewsbury, Shropshire Snape grew up under the influence of Christopher Nolan and Edgar Wright. Later on Snape moved to London and began filmmaking at school from the age of 14. Since 2014 he has enjoyed a successful freelance career and has co-directed and produced a number of short films.
Snape's work explores existential and epistemological themes such as subjective experience, human morality, the nature of space and time, causality and the construction of personal identity.

Brooklyn native Monetti born of Italian immigrant parents – an electrician father and stay-at-home mother – wanted to fly as a teenager, but did not know how his family could afford to pay for flight instruction. He soared ahead just the same going on to become a member of the first group of stealth bomber pilots.
This homage to the American Dream sees Ret Lt. Col. Monetti recount epic real-life stories of survival, hope, mercy, and human will. Guided by the will of God and a set of core values underpinned by the noble idea of service before self, this American hero makes the case for young men and women all around the world to live a life of purpose, and in the immortal words of the 35th President of the USA "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country".
