Sex. We are all now able to get this just by swiping right! Online dating is now more about having meaningless flings and one-night stands, rather than finding ‘the one’. My grandparents had a huge impact on my happiness while I was growing up. This project was about reflecting on the simpler times with them when I was child, as well as my dad and aunties childhood growing up with them. Including how my grandparents met each other and their childhood memories.
I focused on the birds that visit Hackney Marshes during their migration and where they visit throughout the seasons and the distance they travel. With the results I made an editorial piece highlighting their journey as well as an infographic that would be placed in the Marshes during the summer months. In addition, I created maps that categorised their species and miles travelled throughout their migrations.
