Holly Brooks
Holly is a BA (Hons) Fashion Buying and Brand Management graduate. Her interests include health, art, sustainability, and fashion, and how these topics intertwine.
During her time at Ravensbourne she developed many different skills, including trend forecasting, marketing, consumer profiling, and research.
Her dissertation focused on why shopping addiction is prevalent in today's society, combining her interests in fashion and mental health.
During her final year at Ravensbourne she embarked on the marketing pathway of the course, in which time she conceptualised the business behind a wardrobe management app in collaboration with Monzo bank. The brand extension, named Mindful Wardrobe, is an app created to aid consumers consider each of their purchases with care. This unique app aims to encourage sustainable purchasing habits by providing users with a digitised version of their existing wardrobes and sets a monthly shopping budget linked to their Monzo balance.
In terms of marketing this brand extension, Holly created a brand identity pack, conducted competitor research, created a media plan and schematic, and also developed a 12 month PR strategy and calendar.
Holly produced social media posts and platforms for this brand extension. Holly has interned with Chalayan and Birdsong during her time at Ravensbourne.
