Nafjola Vorfi
"If we can't use words, we turn to our bodies to tell their own tales."
Portraiture photographer Nafjola Vorfi highlights the subtle simplicities of facial expressions and body language in her photographs to convey the effects of the dynamics between herself and the subject of interest, along with their shared environment. Some photographers may be put off by photographing mainly non-professional models that are occasionally accompanied by a lack of experience in front of the camera, but not for this particular photographer. Nafjola believes in embracing each and every person exactly as they are and allowing them the opportunity to express themselves as they would see fit, not the other way around. It is often claimed that "nothing beautiful ever grows in the comfort zone", but perhaps that is because they are already beautiful before they have ever entered it.
