Jordan Appiatse
The Londoner, Jordan of a Ghanaian origin who also likes to be called Giordano is an avid, curious & determined design student who experiments not only in digital design, but also with making designs with mixed materials such as cardboard, wood, foam etc. The pronunciation of his surname is: ap-pee-yat-see, it stems initially from the italian word 'piazza' meaning public square. Before commencing the Illustration degree course, Jordan a.k.a. Giordano gained a one-year experience in coding when studying Design & Coding after a year of studying Higher Education to Access Course: Design, which he still utilizes and is distinctive in his practice.
He was the only Illustration student who participated in a summer event project in July 2019, which included mural painting at Brighton for the Brighton Pride 2019. His responsibility was to make stencils of typography for the mural decoration.
