Davina Amajor
Davina is a self-driven designer specialising in menswear 3D design. She strives to grow and advance in fabric construction within the manufacturing industry, whilst adapting to the new digital age. Her work frequently explores the re-invention of design, with an aim to recover the functionality and value of worn, aged items and fabrics that were once undesired, and in turn prevent them from being disposed. With her key ideal of function over form, Davina’s work seeks to constantly explore unwanted parts of society and bring them to the world’s forefront through manipulation and recreation, with the application of mix-mediums.
She has worked alongside renowned designers like Markus Lupfer in-house, engaging in pattern-cutting and hand embroidery textiles whilst assisting editorial look-books. Her involvement in 3D design extends the workroom, as witnessed by her experience as a technical assistant and a stylist for London Fashion Week.
