Cressida Marchant
Cressida is a freelance video editor based in London specialising in media and film. She has enjoyed contributing to many external productions outside of her academic work. Cressida has developed a broad range of skills working as a runner and data wrangler on live events for Global Media & Entertainment, and as a runner and script supervisor for a number of notable productions including 'Early Days’ by Nessa Wrafter which won Best Short at the 2018 Irish Film Festival.
Her fascination for storytelling can be seen in her editing of the music video Dimension which depicts a dancer slowly losing control during her performance.
In addition to her studies at Ravensbourne she is an Adobe Certified Associate in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and has worked at the Ravensbourne Kit Store maintaining and logging film equipment and advising on risk assessment.
Moving forward, Cressida is particularly interested in video editing and is looking for an entry level position in a post production company.
