Charlie Cavedaschi

Charlie is a driven, conscientious designer specialising in product, packaging and point of sale design. With a passionate interest for solving real world problems through the medium of design, he has tackled some major issues such as sustainability and most recently design in the medical industry. Often promoting the importance of function over form, his work seeks to identify problems experienced by user groups and using thorough research, iteration and innovative thinking, he creates solutions.

In 2019 Charlie secured an internship at SMP Group PLC, designing exhibition stands and point of sale displays. Working on a range of briefs, he quickly adapted to the design team’s work process and by the end of his time at the company, two of his projects went into live production.

During his time at university he worked with companies such as Morphy Richards and has also exhibited his work at the Retail Expo 2019. As well as being nominated for the BeyondPlastic award 2020, he has been commended by the Design Council for his work on the Design Academy programme.

Charlie is a reliable and responsible creator, dedicated to using his wide knowledge of products to design for good.
