Bradley O'Neill

Bradley is a passionate and mature Game Designer who specialises in Technical Designer Roles but also has an understanding of other roles in the industry such as 3D Modelling, Concept Art and Level Design. With a passion for creating fun and engaging games, his work often reflects this passion by being the highest quality that it can be. Bradley really values the fact that mistakes will be made and that his work isn't perfect, a strong characteristic of Bradley is his ability to reflect and learn and to be as adaptable as possible to make sure his projects shine with each new project or iteration.

Bradley has created many different game projects since joining Ravensbourne. Smaller scale projects such as a new twist on the arcade classic "Breakout" to much larger projects such as Playable 3D Environments and a complete digital prototype which is close to being a shippable game. Looking forward, Bradley is continuing to develop his skills and is really starting to grow and shine as a Game Designer.

This special trailer showcases the best work from Game Design Year 1. A fitting retrospective for an incredible first year! Time to look to the future. Trailer Edited by Leif Saunders from EPP
Gameplay from the Ichigo project. This was the first 3D environment that Bradley ever worked on and is a personal favourite. Models were all created using Maya and UV maps and textures were also done by Bradley. The models were created from given designs.
The Lones Ones was Bradley's second 3D Environment project. Unlike Ichigo, this environment was designed from the ground up and uses models that were created from Bradley's own designs.
End Days was the biggest game project that Bradley had worked on so far. The aim was to create a Digital Prototype from the ground up. Starting with the Ideation process and all the way up to completion. The finished version is by far the most complete piece of work Bradley has made. Taking skills from other units and combining them to create something which is more of a "Vertical Slice" or "First Playable" than a prototype.
A page from the "Art Guide" for one of the major projects. This page shows the basic 3D skeleton for a build based on a structure from Santorini in Greece.
