17279 is a telegraph pole located on a hilltop in the middle of the English countryside. I chose a small area of land around this pole to collect as many inaudible sounds as possible to then create a sonic atmosphere of what we don’t hear when in this environment. The sounds recorded are going on when we pass through this area – however, we don’t hear them without the use of specialist microphones.
